The following video shows how to decide what family your instrument belongs to. By now, you should have found an object in your house that you can play as an instrument. In music we call these "found sounds". Watch the video to see what family the found instrument belongs to. Remember: the family is determined by how you make sounds with the instrument.
Now that you've found which family your instrument belongs to, use the following FlipGrid link to record yourself with your instrument. I want you to log in, find your grade level and record yourself introducing yourself, your instrument, what family it belongs to and why. 1. click on the RED banner below 2. enter your school email (same as logging in to CTLS) 3. once logged in, choose your grade level 4. record your response, follow all the steps until it says you're done! 5. your video won't appear until I review and ok it- be patient :) If the embedded FlipGrid doesn't cooperate, try these directions: 1. open up flipgrid.com in a separate browser tab. 2. use the code collins6193 to join (you may be prompted to log in again- don't panic) 3. choose the correct grade level 4. record your response, follow all the steps until it says you're done! 5. your video won't appear until I review and ok it- be patient :)
